It’s a unified platform for managing cloud and hybrid-cloud media systems, designed to scale as your needs grow. As we continue to expand its capabilities, the updated pricing reflects the growing value iconik brings to teams of all sizes.
2. We include many innovations in the overall cost.
Over the past two years, we’ve added tools like subclips, share management, AI topic extraction, transcription summaries, and media player updates — all without extra charges. Collaboration tools, proxy-edit workflows, and Adobe panel integrations also remain standard in every plan. The new pricing ensures we can keep enhancing iconik’s value while avoiding extra costs for every new feature we introduce.

As teams have grown, we’ve seen a shift: some prioritize flexibility while others value predictable costs. The updates described below reveal how we’re now providing the best of both worlds, ensuring iconik meets the needs of all teams.
Please note that fair pricing remains at the heart of iconik. Our Pay As You Go model, which charges only for active users, remains a cornerstone of how we operate. We believe in the power of usage-based billing for the flexibility and scalability it offers, and PAYG will continue to be available for teams who prefer this approach.
Okay—so what’s changing?
We’ve listened to your feedback and taken a close look at how teams are using iconik today. To better align with your needs, we’re updating our pricing structure to make it clearer, more flexible, and better tailored to teams of all sizes. Here are the key updates:
- A new Pro Pricing tier: Perfect for teams looking for predictable, fixed annual pricing.
- An expanded Enterprise tier: Offering even more benefits for larger organizations with advanced needs.
- User cost adjustments for PAYG: Power and Standard user costs will rise by 10%, while Browser user costs will drop by 60%.
- Transcription cost reduction: Prices will drop by 45%, from $1.80 to $1 per hour of analyzed content.
- Automation Engine launch: Officially rolling out at $0.002 per run for PAYG users.
- Additional changes: Other adjustments—both increases and decreases—are detailed in the table below.
These changes will take effect on January 1, 2025.
All iconik credits purchased before January 1, 2025 will remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. They will continue to be consumed at the price list in effect when purchased. Credits purchased after January 1, 2025 will be consumed at the new rate.

Pay As You Go
The iconik you know and love, built for flexibility
Pay As You Go remains iconik as you’ve always known it — flexible, fair, and designed to fit your team’s unique needs. With this model, you only pay for what you use. Simply purchase iconik credits at $1 each and use them as needed throughout the month for the features and services your team relies on. If users don’t log in, you won’t be charged for them that month.
Here’s what is changing:
- Power users: $120/month (up from $109).
- Standard users: $65/month (up from $59).
- Browse users: $9/month — a significant decrease from $23.
- Collaborators: Still free, so you can easily invite others to work with you.
AI service pricing remains the same, except for transcription costs, which we’re reducing by 40%—from $1.80 to just $1 per hour. This change makes transcription even more accessible for the many teams that rely on speech-to-text tools and brings even more value to recently added functionality like AI-driven topic extraction and summaries.
Pay As You Go continues to offer teams the flexibility to scale usage based on their needs, making it a great option for organizations of any size looking for a no-commitment, scalable solution.
Pro Pricing
Predictable annual pricing tailored to your needs
We’re pleased to introduce the new Pro Pricing tier, designed for teams who value control and predictability in their budgeting. With Pro Pricing, you pay a fixed annual cost based on the users, features, and services you select—eliminating the guesswork of fluctuating monthly usage.
Here’s how it works:
- Choose the number of users you need at each level (Power, Standard, Browse).
- Select the features and services you want, like storage, object detection, automation, and more from iconik’s suite of offerings.
- Receive a tailored annual cost for your package.
And that’s it—no surprises, just straightforward pricing. Plus, if your team approaches the limits of your plan, we’ll notify you in advance so you can make adjustments without interruption.
Pro Pricing also includes:
- 100 hours/month of transcription
- 50,000 automation runs per day
- SSO for secure, streamlined access
- Free transfer of up to 25% of purchased storage

Enterprise
Built for large-scale operations and advanced needs
We designed the new and expanded Enterprise tier for organizations that demand enhanced security, dedicated support, and more tailored solutions. This tier includes everything included in Pro Pricing, along with even more features to support large teams and complex workflows.

- Bring Your Own Storage: You’ll always be able to manage your existing storage easily with iconik.
- Bring Your Own AI: Use your own licenses for transcription and tagging services if that works best for you.
