Davinci Resolve

Search your media library from inside Resolve, edit and enhance, and send finished sequences back to Iconik without jumping between apps.

The Iconik integration for DaVinci Resolve Studio adds powerful asset search and export workflows directly inside Resolve.

Editors can access Iconik's library directly from within Resolve and retrieve files to begin editing immediately. The Iconik Agent downloads high-res originals. When you're done, export sequences straight to Iconik collections in one click. You'll need DaVinci Resolve Studio, an Iconik subscription, and the Agent installed on your editing workstations.

Core features

What happens when you connect DaVinci Resolve Studio

  • Access media from any Iconik-connected storage location directly inside Resolve. Open collections you've organized in Iconik and pull footage straight into your timeline, whether files live in the cloud or on-premise.
  • Right-click collections to grab everything inside, including nested subcollections. The Iconik Agent downloads files to your working directory, and the integration automatically imports them into Resolve’s Media Pool, pulling in the parent collection plus all nested subcollections in one go.
  • Grab additional assets without leaving Resolve. Need a logo, graphic, or b-roll while you're editing? Search for it in the Panel and drop it into your current project without needing to switch apps.
  • Render finished timelines back to Iconik. Render your sequence from within Resolve and send the output to Iconik via the integration. The Agent sends the rendered file back to Iconik automatically.
  • Work across time zones with centralized asset access. Remote editors access the same organized collections as the core team, eliminating the need for local copies of everything.
Who it's for

Access your entire media library from inside Resolve, no matter where files are stored

Remote editors and distributed teams can pull up organized collections in Iconik right from the Resolve timeline. The Agent handles file transfers in the background so editors can focus on creative work instead of wrestling with storage locations or coordinating file access.

For technology teams and integrators

  • Iconik indexes files on your existing infrastructure (AWS S3, Wasabi, NAS, etc) without moving originals. Editors access unified libraries through Resolve.
  • Remote editors don't need full local copies. The Agent transfers only active editing files, reducing local storage while maintaining full library access.
  • Iconik’s permission system controls which users and groups can access specific assets and collections through the Resolve integration.

For creative teams and operations

  • Collections in Iconik stay accessible to all editors who have access. Right-click to import entire collections, including nested subcollections. No folder hunting or asking colleagues for locations.
  • The Agent transfers files to each editor's workspace. Multiple editors access the same media library simultaneously.
  • Rendered sequences can return to Iconik for stakeholder review and feedback.
