MASV

Large media files don't always move at the speed a production needs. Email can't carry them, general-purpose file-sync tools choke at volume, and every transfer that happens outside Iconik is one more file someone has to remember to bring back in. MASV is different — it moves files at the size and speed media production requires and connects that transfer directly to Iconik, so content doesn't get stranded outside the system everyone else is working from.

Send Files Directly from Iconik Package and deliver assets to anyone, anywhere, without leaving your Iconik workspace. No downloading a copy first or re-uploading into a separate transfer tool.

Automated Ingest into Iconik Incoming MASV transfers land in your Iconik library automatically. From there, whatever you've already set up to run on new assets — such as tagging, transcription, or notifications — picks up the moment the file arrives.

No Limits on Package Size or Volume MASV is built for the size and volume media production requires — such as full camera masters, multi-terabyte project folders, or high-volume batches — with no package size ceiling to plan around.

Fewer Manual Handoffs A transfer that used to mean exporting from Iconik, moving the file a separate way, and re-importing it later becomes one connected step instead of three.

How it works

MASV connects to Iconik through the Iconik REST API using an application token issued from your Iconik account, and delivers incoming files into a cloud storage location connected to Iconik. Iconik detects the new files as they land and creates the asset automatically. From there, any automation rules already set up on your domain run the same way they would on any other newly ingested asset.
